neben vielen Weltstars und Orchestern wie Franz Welser-Möst und The Cleveland Orchestra, Christian Thielemann und die Wiener Philharmoniker, Markus Poschner und das Bruckner Orchester Linz, Michi Gaigg und das L’Orfeo Barockorchester, Thomas Hengelbrock und die Münchner Philharmoniker, Startenor Thomas Hampson und die gefeierten Sopranistinnen Christiane Karg und Julia Lezhneva, der Ausnahmepianist Marc-André Hamelin sowie der international renommierten Tenebrae Choir unter der Leitung von Nigel Short bietet das Internationale Brucknerfest Linz 2024 im Jubiläumsjahr zu Anton Bruckners 200. Geburtstag eine wahre Weltsensation.
Zum weltweit ersten Mal werden im Rahmen des Festivals alle elf Sinfonien Bruckners als Gesamtzyklus im Originalklang zur Aufführung kommen, eine furiose musikalische Entdeckungsreise, die nur im Brucknerhaus Linz und exklusiv in Österreich zu hören sein wird. Die Sinfonien erklingen dabei stets in ihrer Erstfassung und damit in der Gestalt, die Bruckner dem jeweiligen Werk ursprünglich zu geben beabsichtigte. Die speziell hierfür konzipierte, programmierte und prominent besetzte Konzertreihe garantiert ein einzigartiges Hörerlebnis, ein wahres Originalklangfest, das im Bruckner-Jahr 2024 allein die Bruckner-Stadt Linz zu bieten hat und das von elf der renommiertesten Originalklangorchester Europas unter der Leitung von elf namhaften Dirigenten zur Aufführung gebracht wird.
